I'm rather picky when it comes to musicals and I don't like this"Showboat" or the remake made in the 50s but I love the music especially this beautiful and bittersweet song. Robeson is a gifted singer but I prefer the way it is sung by William Warfield in the 50s film which can be seen on clip at the bottom of this post
