Henry V: Passacaglia on the Death Of Falstaff

composed by Sir William Walton

I first heard this melancholy piece while watching "The War" (a Ken Burns Documentary on WWII) and it instantly tied with Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings as one of the most bittersweet pieces of music I have ever heard and it nearly always moves me to tears.

The following video is an excerpt from "The War" and if you have 30 min. to spare I highly recommend watching it.
