Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir

10/26/10

People who know me well know that I am sometimes emotional and
very sentimental and that I have a tendency to cry (that I expect I
inherited from my mother) . No, I don't cry a river of tears (except
when I'm REALLY upset or the first time I watched
"The Boy in the Striped Pajamas") my eyes usually just get
glossy and my throat closes up a bit. I'm prone to tears while
watching sad films as I mentioned before and when
listening to emotive music and I find this particular hymn
quite moving.

Smooth Criminal

I love the original music video but I love Fred Astaire even more ^_^

Violin Concerto, No. 3: "Strassburg" K. 216, 3rd Movement

composed by W.A. Mozart, as used in the film "Master and Commander"

This movie ALMOST made me puke, true story. It was really early in the morning (by really early in the morning I mean 1-2am) and I was pretty out of it and a certain very bloody scene involving limbs being chopped off made me gag ^_^

Jungle Drum

by Emiliana Torrini

Duel of the Fates from "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace"

composed by the great John Williams

This is the suckiest part of the movie (WHY DID LIAM NEE... I mean Qui-Gon... HAVE TO DIE?!?!?!?!) but the music makes the terrible blow a little less painful.

My Body is a Cage

by Arcade Fire

this song is amazing on its own but when paired with Sergio Leone's masterpiece "Once Upon a Time in the West" it's absolutely magnificent ^_^
